Midwives strive to have relational connections to the families we work with. This means we spend time getting you know you, sharing information, answering your questions and helping to prepare you for your birth and baby. We believe in building community to increase support for new families and make referrals to various community groups along the way. We aim to provide individualized, compassionate, trauma informed and non-judgmental care. We practice informed choice to help you make choices that feel right for you and your family. We attend births both at home and at Victoria General Hospital.
At Cook Street Community Midwives, you will be cared for by two-three midwives who support one another to provide the best care possible. To learn more about midwifery care, click here.
